Taking the hedonistic energy of one of the world’s most famous cities, and pouring it into an irresistible indie-sleaze gem, Sir Winston returns with a brand new single: ‘Sex In Paris’.
As the first solo release from the producer since 2020’s ‘Hollywood Hills’, ‘Sex In Paris’ comes in hot off of the mass re-emergence of Indie-sleaze. Sir Winston dishes out an electro-hazy dance-floor tune reminiscent of the 2010’s (LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip).
This single proves the decade defining genre is back in full-force.
Sir Winston divides his time between Paris, Melbourne and New York, the latter of which ‘Sex in Paris’ was recorded. An ode to the seduction of the glamorous city, this upbeat, sexy single foregrounds recurring French themes, which will be prominent in his forthcoming EP, Démons à Combattre.

Recorded at Transmitter Studios in Brooklyn, New York with longtime collaborator and fellow producer, Abe Seiferth (RAC, Car Seat Headrest, Yeasayer). ‘Sex In Paris’ is the first of several singles to be released in 2023 from Démons à Combattre.
With ‘Sex In Paris’, listeners are invited to indulge in a sumptuous sexy hit of indie sleaze; perfect for fans of artists including LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Dare.
Accompanying this release is an analogue washed lyric video with bold text design. Sir Winston combines the lyrics of his indie-sleaze track with a flickering vintage montage of the seduction of Paris.
