From the band whose sound can only be described as the first day of summer: sunny, memorable and good vibes only, they prove themselves as a band that delivers consistently hard-hitting tracks. Combining the sounds of classic surf rock ‘n’ roll guitar with smooth, buttery vocals, they’ve once again provided the perfect summer anthem in ‘Stop Sign’.
The boys of DICE have spent time in the studio with Sam Ford at Tone City Recording Studio (Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, POND & Abbe May) recording their fifth single, ‘Stop Sign’ which is set to be the lead track of their upcoming debut EP. Taking influence from the likes of The Strokes, Beddy Rays and The VANNS, DICE distills this into their iconic breezy indie surf-rock sound fans love.
“‘Stop Sign’ is a self reflection on personal values and self-will to achieve your dreams and desires. Lyrically the song explores the battles between self belief and shying away from what you truly want.” DICE
Barely a year old, this band’s ambition, drive and talent cannot be understated. From playing their first ever gig as a band in November of 2020, to their most recent head-line show selling out an over 450 person venue, DICE’s growth is unstoppable and exponential. They have proven themselves as having their finger directly on the pulse of the aussie spirit, and providing the perfect soundtrack for the warmer months.
So grab a couple beers, kick off your shoes and have a boogie to the new age of Surf Rock, DICE.
