Bad Pony return with new dose of intoxicating rock in ‘Forever, My Love’

With a mischievous glint filtering throughout, Bad Pony mark their return for 2020 with  a new banger in ‘Forever, My Love’. Driven by groove, intoxicating vocals and catchy indie melodies, the band proves that they’re ready and raring to go as a new chapter of music awaits.

Taken from the forthcoming Bad Pony album – in the works for a 2020 release – ‘Forever, My Love’ stems from a piece of jewellery songwriter Jarred Young holds close.

“‘Forever, My Love’ is about a ring I inherited from my parents. My mum bought it for my dad before they got married and it has the phrase ‘Forever, My Love’ inscribed on the inside. I wear it every day and think the message is really beautiful. We live in different countries so it’s a nice reminder of the love they have for each other, and also the love we have as a family.” Jarred Young, Bad Pony
The process of bringing ‘Forever, My Love’ together marked the first time Bad Pony worked with a producer, teaming up with Steven Schram at Rockinghorse Studios in Byron Bay. Capturing the grit and raw energy of the group’s live performance on record, ‘Forever, My Love’ is Bad Pony in a nutshell.

A hint of what’s to come from Bad Pony as this year rolls out, ‘Forever, My Love’ is strong with the band’s now trademark take on rock music that is equal parts danceable and darkly inhibiting.
