Off the back of their massive signing deal with Berlin’s Embassy Of Music and news of their upcoming appearance alongside the likes of Kings of Leon and Mura Masa at Boardmasters UK, Caravãna Sun keep the ball rolling in announcing the release of their new single, ‘Charlie’.
The single comes as the band prepares to get back on the road; their three date East Coast tour kicking off this March.
‘Charlie’ is a song about connections and establishing relationships with those around us. It is also a song that encourages the listener to be taking care of themselves too – we can only be our best selves to those in our lives if we’re being the best we can be to ourselves too.
Born out of a guitar riff created while on the road in Europe, then fleshed out over sessions of recording in the Blue Mountains, ‘Charlie’ is Caravãna Sun at their dynamic best. A personal story for songwriter Ant Beard, the single is a call for support and offering hope to those who might be doing it tough.
Caravãna Sun’s next round of touring starts in Melbourne before carrying on through Sydney and Brisbane, where they will be supported by Dreggs. An exciting opportunity for fans to see what the group has been working on and what is still to come, the ‘Charlie’ era is one Caravãna Sun are eager to launch into in the live space.
