The fans asked for more, and Spotify delivered.
In a world where we are constantly craving more – more behind the scenes, more connection, more content, more stories – Spotify is quenching the thirst of fans with its latest UI update. The update, currently rolling out across the UK, will feature 30s videos from artists and allow artists to connect with superfans via special releases, merchandise exclusives and ticket releases.
According to MD of Spotify UK and Ireland, Tom Connaughton this is Spotify’s bid to “create deeper discovery and more meaningful connections between artists and fans.” Connaughton further shared that Spotify is evolving from a listening destination into a place where artists can form deeper connections, which will bring “the platform and Spotify to life in a deeper way.”
