“We were obviously feeling the impacts of covid on a professional level but wanted to write something about the impact it had had on our mental health and the inescapable headspace it was putting us in. We very intentionally didn’t want it to be a literal covid or lockdown themed song but considering that had been our only shared experience for the past 12 months we wanted to talk about it in a slightly more abstract way.”Set Mo

“We set out to make something upbeat and energising as we definitely had some pent up energy at the time. We already had a garage beat going when Jess arrived and she’s such a pro that the song took shape super quickly. She skips over the groove so nicely.
