Brisbane punk force VOIID sign with Damaged Records

It’s a big day for Melbourne’s Damaged Records, who today announce their latest signing:

 Brisbane punk four-piece, VOIID

For VOIID, their rise within the Australian heavy community has been one that’s been marked by hectic live shows, music that roars with confidence as it does spirit. What started out as a group of mates finding a shared passion for music and over time, VOIID has flipped that passion into a formidable force that has made the Australian industry sit up and pay attention.

Damaged Records – founded by Melbourne punk favourites Clowns in 2018 – were also keeping a keen eye on how VOIID continued to kill it as recording artists and live performers. And now, these two beloved names have come together to work on exciting releases still to come!

First up, Damaged and VOIID have announced a special limited vinyl reissue of the band’s 2020 EP, Socioanomaly. Shipping in November, this once-off run of records will be limited to 300 copies in both Red Translucent and Black/Red Marble.

“We love this band and the work they do. We can’t wait for you to hold a copy of this powerful 12” EP and hear some more of the band’s music currently in the works!”

It is the first time the Socioanomaly EP has been pressed to wax; a powerful instalment in the VOIID catalogue, continuing the band’s stride to ‘reinvent the role of female’ and lend a voice to those in need.
