TILD burn bright with the release of new single ‘Wasting Time’

Returning with their second single for 2020, Sydney’s TILD continue to revel in grunge-soaked indie vibes.

New track ‘Wasting Time’ pairs evocative songwriting with driving guitar and thumping percussion, putting the group firmly in the same league as some of the country’s brightest bands leading rock forward.

Recorded at Sydney’s Jungle Studios with Lachlan Mitchell (The Vines, The Jezabels), ‘Wasting Time’ comes bristling with energy and a sense of yearning that the band has said is their best recorded effort yet.

“Working with the wizard Lachlan Mitchell really brought this track to life. Lyrically, the song speaks to leading the most boring mundane life possible, out of fear of actually living. We wanted to create a juxtaposition by making the music energetic and alive, and we believe we achieved that.” TILD

Making their debut in 2019, TILD have been capitalising on time spent in the studio and on the road supporting the likes of British India and The Dead Love, while releasing a string of well-received singles including ‘Slowly’ and ‘Wolf’. 2020 has seen the band kick things off with the stirring track ‘Make Up’ and now with ‘Wasting Time’, the four piece are keeping the momentum going strong.
