‘Soaking Up The Sunshine’ marks the third taste of Joe Mungovan’s breezy Sunday morning vibes after releasing ‘Lemon + Lime’ in February, and ‘You + Me’ produced by Tim Carr (Matt Corby, Urthboy).
The song was written in a home studio, near his hometown of Kiama on the South Coast of NSW.
The mood of ‘Soaking Up The Sunshine’ is best described as a laid back coastal vibe with a dreamy guitar strumming throughout the track and catchy vocal melodies to top it all off.
Last month Joe Mungovan was nominated for an APRA Award after co-writing ‘Give Me Tonight’ with Sony Music artist Brad Cox. His single ‘Lemon + Lime’ was lauded by Australian media with Triple j spins, Apple Music playlist support and a video rotation on MTV.
