Ghanaian-Australian YAWDOESITALL goes verse for verse with RICK ROSS on ‘SAINTS’

Yawdoesitall will not stop winning.

Following a few massive years where the rising Sydney-based rapper/producer has built a strong fan-base for his hard-hitting, unique style of hip-hop - the Ghanaian-born MC has now found himself featuring alongside US legend Rick Ross on the latest track from producer Trip - titled ‘SAINTS’

‘SAINTS’ is a sonic force. With an incredibly textured, opulent beat from producer Trip; Yaw’s verse opens the track, setting the energy high with his signature flow, followed by a commanding verse from RIck Ross that resonates long after the song ends - as one would expect.

Lyrically, Yaw’s dynamic verse dives into his ongoing push to become recognised on the global stage.

Trip approached me for a verse and Saints made sense for me to be on. I think after bars of steel I was in a rap state and this was an easier challenge. In the verse, I wrote about being overlooked despite being a huge home grown talent and a need to keep going to win regardless.  Shining light on the growth whereas fitting it in the same world as rick ross' verse. it ended up being a fun record after our session and keen for it to be out.YAWDOESITALL

Yaw’s feature on ‘SAINTS’ follows on from a few recent milestone moments from the Sydney MC; making a huge impression on triple J’s Bars Of Steel less than a month ago, receiving his first rotation spot on triple J for ‘Love Jones’ (2023), a nomination for Best Hiphop/Rap Album at the 2023 AIR awards, making an appearance at last years BIGSOUND festival, and sharing stages with the likes of Redveil (US)Baker Boy, and JK-47.

With over 900K total streams across DSPs, Yawdoesitall has seen relentless support from every facet of the Australian music industry, with a plethora of editorial playlists across Spotify and Apple Music, A-rotation from Sydney tastemakers FBi Radio and editorial features in AcclaimThe AU ReviewTonedeafRolling Stone and more across his career.

With the release of ‘SAINTS’, Yawdoesitall proves he has what it takes to claim that international spotlight, rubbing shoulders with some of the music industries biggest names and giving one of his most impressive performances to date.
